Ponderosa Fire Department Round Up
July 2010

The July 4th Holiday brings fireworks – please be careful and closely supervise your children. Be aware that some subdivision deed restrictions ban fireworks and that some areas around us are within Houston’s Special Purpose Annexation where they can confiscate fireworks and cite the individual. These areas are generally throughout our area. Please be careful if you use fireworks – please!

Hurricane season is here again! Now is the time to buy that generator, stock up on food that can be stored, identify items on your property that can become flying missiles, and a host of other issues. You can obtain a lot of preparation and planning information at www.hcoem.org, the Harris County Homeland Security and Emergency Management website.
